Flower Festival - "A Tomb with a View"

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Hampstead Additional Burial Ground

Flower arrangers from the Church and local community will be taking as their theme people buried here over the years: chimney sweeps, writers, actors, the Pearly King and Queen, members of the community and congregation.

Children from six schools in the area are working all term on an associated local history project. Other schools and our Sunday School will be providing displays.

The Festival opens with a reception on Thursday 21st at 6.00 pm. Tickets at £10.00 are available from the Vestry and the Church website. Entry to the remainder of the Festival is free.

A fun day of activities on Saturday from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm includes Morning coffee, Lunch, Afternoon tea, Children's activities, Tomb trails and our traditional annual cake stall - arguably the best cake stall in town! And don't miss a special appearance by the Pearly Queen.
